Lillie House, Phase II – London Road – Leicester

Blauberg UK were awarded the contract to supply 100 Komfort EC DB 350 units for a student accommodation project in Leicester. We managed to overcome the tight delivery schedule of just four weeks to deliver the first 24 units and the remaining 76+ units were delivered just one week later.

The new build student development, which consists of around 100 units, uses a hot water design based around air source heat pumps and a central gas fired plant to allow the building to be electrically heated whilst still being compliant with Part L2A.

Komfort EC DB 350 units suited this project due to their slim profile, higher than average airflow rates and their ability to offer trickle, boost and purge ventilation at full speed. F8 filters are also included to reduce pollution levels from a busy road while maintaining low noise levels.

The project is currently on site, due for completion in 2017.
